Tim and Pam Gates, Owners & Operators

Pam and I became empty nesters in March 2006 and after spending the last fourteen years in Atlanta we immediately decided that we wanted to come back to our roots in Alabama. My family has lived in the Tallassee area since 1849. I spent most of my early years in Eclectic and after moving to Montgomery, I met Pam, the love of my life.    We both graduated from Lee High School.  High school sweethearts, we have been married for 28 years. We have two children, Josh 26 and Jessica 24 and our new son-in-law Britt New of Fayetteville Georgia.   My ancestor’s, The Woodall’s were the original owners of Hotel Talisi. When we heard it was for sale we decided to bring it back into the family. My father sold his restaurant in Eclectic in 2007 and his father owned a business in Eclectic as well.   Keeping the Southern Charm atmosphere and serving ------- southern food is our priority at Hotel Talisi. We will achieve this by living in and operating the hotel on daily basis. We welcome your commits and are eager to join your community.
